Who we are

What we collect

Account details when you sign in (via our auth provider), such as email and profile basics.

Votes you submit, including guest sessions tied to a browser token until you sign in or clear storage.

Technical data needed to run the service: IP address, device/browser type, and request logs for security and debugging.

Product analytics when you accept statistics cookies (Mixpanel), to understand usage and improve the app.

Error and performance data when the app runs (Sentry), to fix bugs and keep the service reliable.

How we use it

To run games, show results, save your vote history when signed in, and prevent abuse.

To operate accounts, merge guest activity where supported, and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

We use service providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, database, authentication, analytics). They only act under our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

Retention

We keep votes and account data while your account is active and as needed for the service and legal obligations.

You can request account deletion from Profile; we anonymise prior votes as described in the product flow.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data, and to object to certain processing.

Cookies and storage

We use a consent tool (Cookiebot) on the live player app so you can choose essential cookies only or allow statistics cookies.

Essential cookies and storage: Clerk sign-in sessions, guest vote tokens, and preferences needed to run games. These are required for account and guest play.

Statistics cookies (optional): if you accept them, we load Mixpanel to understand how people play, share, and return. We do not initialize Mixpanel until you consent.

Error monitoring: we use Sentry to capture client errors and basic performance signals so we can fix failures. This runs to keep the service working; optional Core Web Vitals mirroring into Sentry stays off unless explicitly enabled.

You can change your choice anytime via the cookie settings link in the Cookiebot banner or footer widget.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
